On May 30, 2026, JCI Baguio joined fellow Jaycees from JCI Bataan, JCI San Pedro Portal, JCI Lucena, and JCI Las Piñas in the implementation of the Bags of Hope Project held in Sitio Grego, Barangay Calaylayan.

Spearheaded by JCI Bataan as its Post-Induction Project, the initiative brought together Local Organizations united by a shared commitment to supporting education, extending hope, and making a positive impact in the lives of children and families within the community.

Through the distribution of school bags, educational materials, and essential supplies, the project provided valuable resources while encouraging young learners to continue pursuing their educational aspirations. The activity highlighted the importance of service-oriented leadership, demonstrating that meaningful leadership is reflected through action, compassion, and dedication to community development.
The project also strengthened fellowship among the participating organizations. Representatives from different cities and provinces came together as one movement, working collaboratively to create positive change and uplift underserved communities.

JCI Baguio extends its appreciation to JCI Bataan for leading this meaningful initiative and to the participating Local Organizations and members whose collective efforts contributed to the success of the project. Through their collaboration and commitment to service, the activity brought smiles, inspired hope, and created lasting memories for the beneficiaries.

As JCI continues to empower young active citizens, initiatives such as Bags of Hope serve as a reminder of the impact that compassion, collaboration, and service can create in communities.

Through collective action, hope is transformed into meaningful and lasting change.
