A new chapter of leadership begins.
JCI Baguio successfully conducted its 2027 Election of Officers, reaffirming the chapter’s commitment to a fair, democratic, transparent, and member-driven electoral process.
With 19 voting members participating and more than 15 JCI Senators present to witness the proceedings, the election brought together different generations of JCI Baguio in support of one important principle: our members have the voice to choose the leaders who will carry the chapter forward.

The electoral process was conducted under the leadership of COMELEC Chair and Immediate Past President James Casino, with the Nominations Committee composed of RVP Ian, Senator Lan Du, and Senator Jefferson.
JCI Baguio extends its gratitude to everyone who helped uphold the integrity, impartiality, and fairness of the elections, as well as to our Senators who joined us to witness this important leadership transition.
At the heart of JCI is the belief that young people must be given opportunities to develop themselves as leaders.
And empowerment means more than giving someone a title. It means giving leaders the trust and space to actually lead.
JCI Baguio believes that every generation of officers should have the opportunity to make decisions, introduce new ideas, challenge themselves, and take responsibility for the direction of the organization, guided by the lessons and experiences of those who came before them, but not controlled by them.
Leadership development also means recognizing that mistakes and failures will happen.
And that is okay.
JCI is a training ground for leadership. We learn by doing. We learn from our successes, but we also learn from our mistakes. We reflect, correct, improve from within, and move forward stronger.
Our Past Presidents, Senators, and senior members remain an invaluable source of experience and institutional memory. Their role in guiding and mentoring future generations helps ensure that while leadership changes, the lessons and values built through the years continue.

The membership has entrusted you with the responsibility to lead JCI Baguio into another year of service and opportunity. Lead with courage. Listen to your members. Try new things. Take responsibility. Learn from your mistakes. Build on what came before you, and leave something stronger for those who will come after you.
Because genuine leadership succession is not about controlling what comes next.
It is about preparing the next generation, trusting them when their time comes, and empowering them to lead. 19 voters. A fair and democratic election. A new generation empowered to lead. One JCI Baguio moving forward together.
