JCI Baguio successfully gathered students, educators, parents, and community partners at the Event Center of SM City Baguio for the Leaders of Tomorrow – Batang Lider Award 2026 (YLEA 2026), a program dedicated to recognizing exceptional student leaders from public and private schools across the city.

The awarding ceremony highlighted the achievements of young individuals who have demonstrated excellence not only in academics, but also in leadership, character, service, and community involvement. Through their initiatives, commitment, and positive influence, these students have become inspiring examples of what youth leadership can accomplish.
More than a recognition program, YLEA 2026 served as a celebration of the values that shape future leaders. The event emphasized the importance of integrity, responsibility, compassion, and active citizenship—qualities that empower young people to make meaningful contributions within their schools and communities.
As the awardees took the stage to receive their recognition, the ceremony became a powerful reminder that leadership is not defined by age or position. Rather, it is reflected in one’s willingness to serve others, take initiative, and create positive impact. The accomplishments of these young leaders demonstrate that the future of our communities is being shaped by individuals who are already making a difference today.

JCI Baguio remains committed to investing in youth development and creating opportunities that encourage young people to grow as leaders. By recognizing their achievements and celebrating their potential, the organization hopes to inspire more students to pursue excellence and become catalysts for positive change.
We extend our warmest congratulations to all awardees, nominees, and participating schools. We also express our sincere appreciation to the parents, educators, mentors, and school administrators whose guidance, encouragement, and support have played a vital role in the development of these young leaders.
